Horror Porn?

Every now and then you come across a movie that you want to give to your friends, not cause it's really good, but because you just wanna go "Dude...check this shit out"

This is one such movie.

I watched this movie over the weekend, and at the end of it, all my numbed mind could say was "WTF?"

As far as B movies go, this thing was up there with the B-ist of them. The only thing more painful to watch aside from the acting was the kills. Th gore in this thing was just crazy, some scenes just played out so slow and shamefully that it left me in just plain aw. I want to be on the drugs these people were snorting.

A lot of positive reviews about this movie say that it 'takes you back to the 80s slasher style.' Thing is...there are classic slasher movies that we remember cause they were so good, and then there are slasher movies we remember cause they were so...bad.

This is the bad kind...

Somewhere out there, there are people that love this movie because it's so bad that it becomes entertaining. You kinda just sit there watching it to see just how much more 'ballsy' the movie is gonna get.

This thing holds no punches, especially when it comes to the female exploitation bits. Now, horror movies and nudity go hand in hand, and have done so for hundreds of horror movie years. But I can't remember that last time I saw a four second shot of a chicks shaved 'hooch' in a horror movie. Plus, what ever realism the movie lacks in story telling and gore...it more than makes up for in oral sex...you'll see what I mean.

I wouldn't recommend this movie cause it's an awesome slasher flick, but more as an example how some movies just have no bounds.

On the upside, I actually thought people had stopped making movies like this. In the 70s and 80s the video market was full of movies there were made in bad taste... labeled by the popular press as video nasties. Now days the gore and exploitation hide behind weird artist masks. Movies like Saw and Hostel have dressed up the mindless gore, but Gutterballs shows no shame and goes balls out. It's not some bull-crap look at society and what people are doing to them selves for entertainment, it doesn't want to teach you any lessons about morals or values.

It set out to show you lots of blood, tits, ass and gore... and it does just that.

This is not the most amazing horror movie I've seen, but for some reason I honestly can't bring myself to say that it's bad. If you're at the video store and can't think of anything else you want to watch, that is when you rent this movie.

It has a kick ass sound track.
